"Pack Play"

Since its inception in 2006, Pet Play Place has been on the cutting edge of the evolution of canine pack play, by creating environments that are not only fun but stimulating, for dogs. Although humans have a good idea of what is fun for humans, we really have to look beyond our own desires and ask ourselves, “if I were a dog, what would I consider fun?” At Pet Play Place, the focus is on innovative pet experiences that let your dog be a dog. New ideas are constantly being integrated into our group pack play program, to constantly engage canine senses.
Our pack play is separated according to size, play-drive, and age. Play Technicians take everything into account when assigning our dogs to groups. During pack play, dogs are allowed to explore their natural pack needs by interacting with other like-minded canines. They are allowed to investigate the world around them surrounded by dog friends. They learn much needed socialization skills that only can be gained by interaction with other animals.

Pack Play is not for all dogs. Although all dogs have a pack mentality, improper socialization from a young age, high prey-drive, or other factors, may work together to make an individual dog unfit for group play with their own species. This is why it is imperative that we conduct a thorough temperament observation prior to a dog being accepted into our pack-play daycare program.

Oasis Play

All facilities offer structured, small-group play called “Oasis”. Oasis play happens outside and is designed to encourage creative human to canine interaction. Our facilities offer a live-stream webcam so that Pet Play Place members may view their dogs playing and interacting with the staff and other dogs. Although, many times the oasis play is enveloped in water exploration and ball time, there are days during the week that we will conduct themed events. Oasis play is open to all daycare and boarding participants in the facility on that given day. Please know that all dogs not signed up for Oasis play, still get indoor and outdoor play through the day.

Themed Events
Whether it be Dog Easter Egg Hunts, Superheroes Day, Dog Color Runs, Snow Parties, or Fall Festivals, Pet Play Place knows how to throw big, fabulous dog parties. Our well-educated and creative staff work tirelessly on coming up with fun and interactive events that will excite both dogs and humans, laying the groundwork for some incredible fun. Themed Events are typically streamed on our webcams or live streamed on Facebook, including large photos dumps when possible. Daycare or Boarding participation is required to partake in any of our themed events.
