The Pet Play Place Canton opens its doors on June 1, 2018. As the second corporate location, PPP Canton served as a model for future franchise buildouts involving dispersed space. Canton is a total of 8,500 sq feet of pure dog fun.
Our Canton Facility boasts 3 indoor play yards, including a playroom just for toy breeds, and 3 outdoor play yards. When all gates are opened in our outdoor space, there is a 100 ft of straight turfed track perfect for our most avid sprinters and frisbee catchers. From the immersive swim spa to its expansive k-9 grassed outdoor yards, Canton has numerous options to create some fun dog activities. Play Equipment from Puppy Playground, wading pools, bubble machines, and various ball options are offered in our front outdoor play yard, where Canton conducts Oasis Play.
Canton offers four varieties of overnight enclosures for our sleepover guests. The accommodation options include Standard, Deluxe, Premium, and Suites.
All Pet Play Place staff are required to participate in and complete extensive online training programs in reference to canine behavior, care, health, and open play concepts. Training is offered through Dog Handler Academy and FetchFind. In addition, some of our members have gone on to complete additional certifications like “Fear Free Boarding”.
Pet Play Place Canton offers the full line of Pet Play Place services, including, Dog Daycare, Boarding, Training, Oasis Play, Webcams, Themed Events, Report Cards, and Spa Services.
Community Outreach
Pet Play Place is committed to being involved in our communities and paying it forward. We sponsor many different events that service our community, as well as involve ourselves in spearheading interaction with dogs and people. One outreach program that we love doing is the “Be A Tree – Anti-Bite Prevention” program that involves local schools and plays a critical role in teaching children the proper ways to approach and interact with dogs. Another program that we implemented recently is quarterly visits to Senior Living programs. This program allows our staff to participate in outreach to our communities by visiting various senior homes with some animal friends. These visits have proved to spread joy among the residents, as animals can be an important vehicle in connection and healing.
