"The Pet Play Place CATTERY"

Pet Play Place offers overnight boarding in our cattery for well-loved cats. Accommodation includes individual cat condos in a large cat playroom, complete with interactive toys, cat tree, and scratching posts. Every guest gets individualized play time out of their condo, which means they get daily individual attention from our staff.

In our new building opening 2023, the Cattery will be expanding to include a separate room for individualized interactive play. Temperament tests are not required for a cat to stay with us; however, we only take cats that are ok with human touch.

What we provide

Daily cuddles and back scratches

Private litter box with premium Cat litter, scooped twice daily

Condos fully disinfected every 3 days or sooner if needed

Fresh water daily

Feeding your food on your cat's regular schedule

Individual Condos with perches, hammock and toys

Individual time in our open play room (out of condo)

What is required to stay in our cattery

Vaccinations - must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.
- Distemper - FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia)
- Rabies
Healthy
Flea and Tick Free
Spayed or neutered by 6 months of age

What to bring with your cat

Cat Carriers:

Please travel to our facility with your cat in a cat carrier. All carriers will be sent home with you. When you come to pick-up your cat, remember to bring the cat carrier with you. While in our facility cat’s must remain in their carrier at all times; before entering and when exiting their condo.

Bedding:

Each cat condo has bedding in them. If you do not wish for your cat to have bedding during their stay, simply inform our staff while checking in. We would prefer that you don’t bring in your own personnel bedding since we have found that some cats destroy bedding while boarded. If you feel that your cat must have its own bedding, we will take it with the understanding that you may not get it back in the shape it was in when you dropped it off.

Toys:

We have cat toys in our Cattery so there is no need to bring toys from home. If you feel your cat will do best with a toy in the condo at all times, please make that request when dropping your cat off for boarding.

Food:

Please bring a supply of their current food in a Ziploc bag or small container that is clearly labeled with name and feeding schedule

Pricing

Pricing in our Cattery is based on a 24-hour period and is $26 per night. The second cat in the family gets a 25% discount. A $26 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of making your reservations as our Cattery has extremely limited availability. We look forward to serving you.

I've never used any sort of dog daycare or boarding before, but bringing my furbaby by for her free temperament test I was welcomed by friendly staff. All my questions were answered and I felt safe leaving my dog for the day. During drop off the staff were welcoming other dogs in by name!! How cute!! During pickup, they were super busy but my dog came back to me clean and happy (and tired!!). I will definitely use Pet Play Place Kennesaw for any of my doggy daycare or boarding needs ❤️

Pet Play Place is an excellent pet facility. Our two English Retrievers have the best time every time they visit. PPP boarding rates are also affordable. We love this facility and can recommend them.

The staff at Pet Play Place are tremendous! Our boy Finn is the biggest chicken - he is timid and doens't easily warm up to people he doesn't know. Over the last 18 months of coming to PPP - he has totally come out of his shell for their team. He gets excited when we tell him we're going there; he hops out of car and nearly breaks down the door to get in and go. We have recently moved to the other side of Atlanta and can no longer come to visit on a regular basis, and we are so sad for Finn and we will miss all his/our friends at PPP.
